Principal's Message

Govt. P.N Girls’ High School, Rajshahi is one of the most famous and biggest schools in Bangladesh. It aims at quality education of the  students. It creates a favorable environment for the development of the potentials of the students. This school is not only famous at  Rajshahi but also all over the country for its own identity. The students of this school have been able to play important role in building  the nation for their creativity. The students of this school have a well developed sense of life and moral values. The school got its  recognition nationally and was awarded as the best school of the country in 2003 by the education ministry. It got the recognition for  its maintaining a steady and better environment for the flourishing of the students and for maintaining strict discipline. From the very beginning of the academic year classes are regularly held. We try to use ICT in education. There are two computer labs, Social Science lab, Biology lab, Chemistry lab, Physics lab and students’ common room. I was a student of this school and feel proud of it. As I am indebted to this school, I always try to work hard for the betterment of it.

I hope that the school will gradually develop and become a symbol that other educational institutions should follow.

Govt. P.N. Girls’ High School, Rajshahi at a glance

Govt. P.N. Girls’ High School is situated in the heart of Rajshahi city Bearing the remembrance of the famous saint Shah Makhdum Rupose(R:). It is one of the oldest and most famous education institutions of the city. About 150 years ago the school was established with help of some education lovers of Rampur-Boalia. It is known  from culcutta review that the school was established many years before 1868. The reference that of having a Girls’ School along with the mission donated school is found in the book of account of Mr. Hunter . Kazi Mohammad Michher said, ‘‘Todays P.N. School seems to be the primary stage of that very government donated school.”
